Hayman
Lodge
Hayman Lodge is a new, purpose built timber clad building located
within the Park. It provides an exciting space for education and
interpretation. It has a spacious meeting room, facilities for light
refreshments and toilets. The building is easily accessible from the
Oak Lane entrance and is sited wholly within the dog free area in
the Park.
Hayman Lodge is available for educational purposes, associated with
the Park, for students of all ages from primary school children
through to students from the University of the Third Age. It is
particularly suited for outdoor learning, heritage and environmental
walks. The use of the building is not restricted to formal education
providers - for example it is ideal for small local and community
organisations and specialist societies to host events or meetings
relating to heritage or the environment. This list is not exhaustive
- the Trustees will happily consider all requests for use of the
building.
The Trust asks that donations to cover running costs be made for use
of the building.
